Len’s fundraising reaches new heights!

One of our members, Len Hiley from Southampton, recently challenged himself to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth as part of a group raising money for the Maggies centre at Southampton General Hospital.

The Spinnaker Tower is 170 metres (560ft) tall and I’m sure it took a lot of courage to step out and make his way down. The feat is all the more remarkable given Len has just started a course of chemotherapy treatment. Well done Len for helping to raise awareness of the great work Maggies do, as well as raising much needed funds for them.
