Southampton “Walk and Talk” event

On 8th February a number of members in the Southampton area met for their monthly “Walk and Talk” event on Southampton Common. The weather was kind (it wasn’t raining for a change!), which enabled them to enjoy a breakfast in the cafe first, before taking a stroll around the common.
The walks are becoming very popular now, allowing a discussion over breakfast to be carried on while enjoying some exercise as well.
The next “Walk and Talk” in Southampton will take place on Sunday 1st March.

Excellent turn-out. The staff at the Hawthorns Cafe did quite well too,, considering the unannounced arrival of 8 older men needing a cooked breakfast…
